Water Control
Checklist

Fix the simple water problem before you blame discipline.

Brain fog. Low energy. Digestive drag. Another coffee. Start by controlling the first input.

Use this as a practical reset, not a wellness performance. The goal is fewer decisions and a cleaner morning input.

Do not build a complicated routine around a missing basic. Stage the water. Control the morning. Then judge your energy honestly.

The Six Checks

1. Morning baselineDrink water before coffee. If coffee is the first fluid every day, you are masking the problem instead of measuring it.
2. Bottle stagingPut water where the decision happens: bedside, desk, vehicle, training bag. Visible beats remembered.
3. Coffee boundaryNo second coffee until the first water target is handled. Do not use caffeine to cover dry inputs.
4. Meal rhythmFront-load water earlier in the day. Do not slam water late at night and call that discipline.
5. Source checkUse a reliable bottle/filter setup you will actually maintain. Simple and repeatable beats perfect and forgotten.
6. Seven-day auditTrack compliance, energy, digestion, and coffee reliance for one week before changing five other variables.

Rule: do not add complexity until this is boring. Less decisions. More control.
