Carnivore is not complicated. Men make it complicated because complicated gives them somewhere to hide. The beginner version is meat, eggs if tolerated, salt, water, and enough fat to keep the day stable.

The first win is not the scale. The first win is that the food decision disappears. You know what food is. You know what food is not. That alone can change a man’s entire day.

What Men Get Wrong

They eat chicken breast, skip salt, drink coffee all morning, under-eat, and then say carnivore made them feel terrible. No. A badly built version made them feel terrible.

If you remove carbs, the body needs fat. Ribeye, 80/20 beef, eggs, sardines, lamb, butter if tolerated. This is not a lean-protein contest.

What to Avoid at the Start

Do not start with “animal-based” desserts, honey, fruit, cheese, and five loopholes. That may come later for some men. The first test should be clean enough that the result means something.

What Men Notice

Less bloating. Less snack noise. Clearer hunger. Sometimes better joints. Sometimes better sleep after the first adjustment period. Not because the diet is magic. Because the body finally gets fewer conflicting signals.

If you need variety every three hours, that is the thing to look at. Carnivore works partly because it removes entertainment from food.
